EASC Outreach: Sijo Teacher Workshops 2022
EASC will introduce teachers to Korean literature through an online, asynchronous Sijo Poetry. Teachers will learn about Sijo (Korean Poetry) through online lectures, presentations, examples, and teaching materials. Information about the 2022 Ohio-Kentucky Sijo Competition will be included as well.
Asynchronous Sijo Teacher Workshop 101:
Open to any educator in any state
Finish by May 1, 2022
Self-paced, asynchronous, online
Gives teachers a background in Sijo, examples, lesson plans
Professional Development (2.0) contact hours
Resource material available for completing the workshop
