Korean Language Instruction

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures (DEALL) offers a varied program in the language and culture of Korea. In addition to five levels of Korean language, faculty teach a range of courses from introductions to Korean culture, literature in translation, to linguistics and art.

Under the leadership of Professors Chan E. Park and Danielle Ooyoung Pyun, DEALL's Korean Language Program is nationally recognized for the quality of its language instruction. Information on scholarships and financial aid are available in our Fellowships section.

The Korean Language Program includes 5 levels of instruction in 2 formats: Individualized Instruction and Regular classroom (five hours per week). For more detailed information on Korean language courses and the Korean Individualized Instruction program, visit DEALL's Korean Program page.
