Seeking companies for summer 2025 internship program in East Asia

Ohio State’s East Asian Studies Center seeks company or institutional hosts for a transformative internship program for one or more undergraduate students to emerge as global citizens, better prepared to tackle the future challenges of the ever-shrinking world around us. Please complete this short survey to gather information.  
 

Company Responsibility

Provide an unpaid, internship experience in East Asia for undergraduate students in summer 2025.

Salary: Internships are unpaid, but students are given a generous scholarship to help offset expenses such as international and domestic travel, insurance (in country), food, and housing.
Timeframe: May – Mid-August 2025 (in country).
Term: Minimum 6 weeks, typically 8 weeks.
Location: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan.
Housing: Situations will vary by placement. Some companies may have housing to help in arranging this, but this is not a requirement.
