This issue includes columns from the EASC, ICS, IJS, and IKS faculty directors, faculty and student updates, as well as the following feature articles:

Impact of teacher training programs on global learning: Read about how EASC's teacher training programs bring the world into K-12 classrooms. The impact of one-day content workshops, multi-day seminars, and long-term professional development programs offered over the last five years is discussed.

Focus on campus workshop series: EASC's new East Asian name pronunciation workshop series is featured, and other academic workshops, culture workshops and grant development workshops are listed.

Focus on academic programming: EASC and the institutes’ 65 lectures, conferences, films and performances are listed. Film screenings and filmmaker visits, along with other select events, are highlighted.

Focus on outreach: Read about EASC’s efforts to reach teachers, business leaders, students and the community through our various outreach events and projects. Chinese language teacher training, collaborations with the Columbus Council on World Affairs, and the Japanese Language and Culture Day are featured.

Faculty news: Twelve new EASC-affiliated faculty are welcomed.

Student news: Read about the inaugural Interdisciplinary East Asian Studies MA Program Graduate Forum which brought together faculty, students, and alumni to showcase academic and career accomplishments.
