On Tuesday July 11, OIA welcomed representatives from the education division of the Chinese Consulate General in New York. The delegation, led by Counselor Yougen Yu, met with Gil Latz, Vice Provost for Global Strategies and International Affairs, faculty from the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, and staff from the East Asian Studies Center. Also present was Sammi Zhao of the Dayton Regional STEM School to discuss Chinese language teaching in Ohio.
