Hubei Peking Opera on the OSU Campus

To celebrate the Year of the Dog and to celebrate 39 Years of Friendship between Ohio and Hubei, the Hubei Provincial Peking Opera Troupe will visit Hagerty Hall to conduct cultural exchanges with faculty and students. At the foyer of Hagerty Hall, from 2:30 pm onwards, the visitors will do demonstrations of miming, water sleeve movements, and many other artistic skills that are part of Peking Opera performances. They will also be displaying their costumes, props, and so forth, and will answer questions from the audience. (The troupe will also be performing on Friday evening (March 2) at Capital University: Hubei Peking Opera Night 2018.)

This OSU campus event is free and open to the public.
