The Smithsonian Institution offered Professor Mancl a 9-month Fellow position at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC. Her project will be “Planting the seed for renewed agricultural collaboration between the United States and China”. 

Professor Mancl been busy working on her current project at the Wilson Center "Cultivating U.S. and Chinese Leadership to Reduce the Climate Change Footprint in Agriculture." She has put together a series of 6 podcasts (3 in English – 3 in Chinese) produced by Sustainable Asia out of Hong Kong.
