EASC-Supported Conference: A Gateway to Chinese Theater

Patricia Sieber (Ohio State University) and Regina Llamas (Stanford University) are hosting a conference entitled "A Gateway to Chinese Theater: Reading Text and Performance, 1100-1850, or "How To Read Chinese Drama" at the Ohio State University, June 7-10, 2017. The conference is generously underwritten by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation with additional support from OSU's East Asian Studies Center and the OSU Department of East Asian Languages. . The conference will lay the groundwork for the guided anthology  "How To Read Chinese Drama" to appear as part of a nine volume "How To Read Chinese Literature" series with Columbia University Press.
