Apply now for fully funded Global Leadership Academy at Wuhan University

The Global Gateways and the East Asian Studies Center are currently accepting applications from undergraduate students to participate in a Global Leadership Academy at Wuhan University in Wuhan, China. The majority of expenses* for the program will be paid through a $50,000 grant from the U.S. Department of State. Eight to 10 students from Ohio State will be selected for the three-week global leadership practicum that will partner them with students from Wuhan University. Students will meet via Skype during spring semester to begin developing their leadership project, and they will spend three weeks together at Wuhan University in May/June to complete their work.
 
Applicants should be enrolled in a Chinese language course, and preference will be given to those who have completed at least one year of language training.

*The grant will cover international airfare, transit from airport to Wuhan, local transportation, Chinese visa, international supplemental health insurance, accommodations, limited cultural activities, meal stipend, and project supplies. It does not cover passport or personal expenses.
