Focus on area studies center collaborations: Read about EASC's collaborations with other area studies centers at Ohio State, including a new postdoctoral fellowship position, a diversity speaker series, and the area studies center conference grant program. Beyond Ohio State, learn about the "Midwestern Professionalization Seminar for East Asian Studies," EASC's new collaborative initiative with the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for East Asian Studies.

Focus on curricular innovation: Explore EASC's response to the COVID-19 pandemic through curricular innovation, such as a new course about "Comparative Epidemics" and a workshop about innovations in teaching during the pandemic. EASC's expanded support for regional campus courses, new donations to support the Cantonese language program, and target language lectures are also featured.
