EASC is seeking applications for fellowships for summer 2022 and academic year 2022-2023 under the U.S. Department of Education's Title VI Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship program. Fellowships are available for Ohio State graduate and professional school students pursuing a course of study requiring advanced foreign language and area studies training, as well as undergraduate students who meet specific eligibility criteria. Subject to approval, FLAS fellowships may also be used for foreign language and area studies at other U.S. or foreign institutions.

Applications will be submitted online and are due by Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 4:30 p.m. EST. Detailed application instructions can be found at https://easc.osu.edu/2022-2023flas.

Students are invited to attend one of EASC's Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship Information sessions, to be held via Zoom. Each session includes a presentation on the fellowship and application process and an opportunity to ask questions. Registration is required.
