Welcome to the Ohio World Language Korean Summit 2024 hosted by the East Asian Studies Center at The Ohio State University. This summit brings together educators, administrators, teachers, and students passionate about fostering Korean language programs in K-12 schools across Ohio and the Midwest. Our event aims to provide valuable insights into establishing and enhancing K-12 Korean programs, featuring sessions on the MEd World Language (Korean) program, teacher licensure, and comprehensive resources and support for offering Korean programs in K-12 settings. Participants will also have the opportunity to glean from past experiences and successful initiatives, empowering them to create Korean language learning environments in their schools. Join us as we collaborate and pave the way for the future of K-12 Korean education in Ohio and the Midwest. Download the PDF flyer here
