Funded Summer Internship in Taiwan

Fubon Securities Internship (Taiwan) 

Internship Position: Foreign Institutional Sales Intern 

Company: Fubon Securities Co., Ltd. 

Established in 1988, Fubon Securities Co., Ltd. is a leading full-service securities firm headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fubon Financial Holdings, one of Taiwan’s largest financial groups. 

Department: Foreign Institutional Services Department 

Duration: 6–8 weeks (40 hours/week), scheduled for Summer 2026 (exact dates are flexible) 

Location: Taipei, Taiwan 

Salary: NT$1,600 per day, plus Freeman Foundation Asia Internship Scholarship, administered by the East Asian Studies Center (up to additional $6,500). 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support in preparing internal business presentations
  • Collect and analyze market, industry, and economic data
  • Manage and record client interactions with equity analysts and sales
  • Participate in earnings calls and summarize key takeaways
  • Assist in business-related operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s student in Finance, Business, or related fields
  • Intermediate proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interest in equity markets and financial analysis
  • Quick learner with a fast-paced mindset
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
