We feature a variety of performances from student and outside organizations, both modern and traditional, as well as interactive booths and fun activities during the event so there's something for everyone to enjoy! The event is completely free, so feel free to stop by and experience some unique Japanese culture and activities! Enjoy the atmosphere of a Japanese Festival in the Performance Hall in the Ohio Union with your friends, colleagues, and family. The festival is free and open to the public.   Limited number of masks will be available, upon request. Calligraphy Booth (try writing your own name in Japanese!) Shateki Booth (target hitting game) JSO/Omikuji Booth (learn more about JSO and your future) Flea Market Booth Yoyo Tsuri (fishing the water balloon floating on water)   Enjoy Cherry Trees around the city!  A free shuttle bus will be available from the JSO Spring Festival at the Ohio Union to the Community Day at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (1777 E. Broad Street, Columbus) celebrating the cherry blossoms with JASCO's Sakura Matsuri.  Their festival runs from 11am - 3pm.  Link for details.  The free shuttle will depart at 10:30am from the Ohio Union and run continuously between the two locations until 5:00pm.  The shuttle bus will leave the Ohio Union's 12 Ave. Loop at 10:30am and will depart Franklin Park Conservatory 45 minutes later.
