The East Asian Studies Center at The Ohio State University is excited to present East Asia Day 2026. East Asia Day will be held on October 16, from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on the main campus of Ohio State (Hagerty Hall, room 180).
EASC welcomes high school students studying East Asian languages to attend short talks by Ohio State faculty, experience an authentic Chinese tea ceremony, play East Asian language games, and take a tour of campus. Topics include East Asian cultural perspectives, cross-cultural communication, and AI in East Asian language learning. Lunch will be provided and parking is available for school buses and vans. Teachers are encouraged to register as a class/group of students.
To reserve a spot for you and your students, please be sure to register by Sept. 30, subject to availability. Schools that attended in 2025 are not eligible for this year's event. Please complete the registration information.
