We invite you to join our upcoming Global Risk & Mitigation speaker event series to discuss the current and emerging risks of doing business in Japan, and the mitigation strategies needed to be successful in the global marketplace. A moderated panel discussion on ‘The Future of US- Japanese Business Relations’ will bring together high-level experts to discuss global trade relations between key trade partners. Speakers will include:
- Teruko Wada, Director of the International Affairs Bureau for KEIDANREN (the Japan Business Federation)
- Hiroaki "Hiro" Kawamura, Ph.D., Director, Area of Modern Languages at The University of Findlay
- Justin Kocher, Senior Director, International Business Development at JobsOhio
- Andrew Lower, Sr. Vice-President, THK Manufacturing of America, Inc.
- Duane Detwiler, Vice President of Research, Director, Honda Research Institute USA, Inc.
Students, faculty, staff and members of the business community who have an interest in exploring global risks are welcome to attend. Registration is required. This is an ongoing series that will span throughout 2025. Series topics will range from global supply chain disruptions, rapidly changing global trade policies, and ongoing geopolitical risks.
