The Korean Performance Program in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, in partnership with the Institute for Korean Studies, will present the 2016 Wind & Stream: Sungkyu Chris Lee Korean Performance Series on Thursday, March 10 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Sullivant Hall's Barnett Theater.

The second annual Korean performance event incorporates comic and satiric talchum, a Korean mask dance tradition. Special guest performers include Professor Chung Heoi-Chun of Jeonbuk University, nationally acclaimed master of kayageum and pansori drumming; Kim Tae-Hoon, senior dancer/choreographer at the National Gugak Center; the Noori Mahroo, Ohio Korean percussion group led by Professor Choi Jinsob of Wright State University; and pansori by Eun Su Kim, director of Washington Sorichung. Directed by Professor Chan E. Park. The event is free and open to the public but seating is limited so registration is required
