Established with a generous gift from former Ohio State faculty member Professor James H-Y. Tai, as well as colleagues, and friends, the Cantonese Gamluhk ("Golden Buck") Fund supports the offering of Cantonese language courses and other Cantonese-related academic programming on The Ohio State University campus. Funds will be allocated by the Director of The Ohio State University Institute for Chinese Studies in consultation with the faculty supervisor of the Cantonese language courses. Until contributions reach the endowment level, the fund shall function as a current-use fund.
