Prof. Jeffrey Cohen welcomed as adjunct faculty at South Central University for Nationalities in Wuhan, China

Jeffrey Cohen

Jeffrey Cohen, professor of anthropology and EASC affiliated faculty member, visited the South Central University for Nationalities (SCUN) in Wuhan, China this summer, where he has given a series of lectures on migration, anthropology and research methods. Building on research on internal migration in China, he was formally welcomed as an adjunct faculty member in SCUN school of ethnology and sociology and is advising program students as they investigate ethnic minority migration in China. Cohen and the school's leaders signed a memo of understanding to further build their formal relationship.
