IUP hosts 2013 Asian Studies Undergraduate Regional Conference

The Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is pleased to host the 2013 Asian Studies Undergraduate Regional Conference March 1-3, 2013 on the IUP campus in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Undergraduate students enrolled at institutions in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio are encouraged to apply and present their research in the field of Asian Studies. Presentations can range broadly both topically and regionally. In keeping with the scope of Asian Studies course offerings at IUP, Asia is defined as consisting of Northeast, East, Southeast, South, and Central Asia, as well as the Middle East. Those wishing to attend or present at the conference should register by December 1. Conference registration is free, but the conference can accommodate only a limited number of presentations, so students are encouraged to submit application materials early in order to ensure participation. For more information, contact Dr. Francis Allard.
