The Foreign Language Center and Phi Sigma Iota will screen "To Live"

(活着) from 7 to 10:00 p.m.in 180 Hagerty Hall on Thursday, March 28. This film is part of the Foreign Language Film Fest "Rising Power." When countries find their socio-economic, political, and cultural positions rapidly changing in the world, repercussions both large and small ripple through the country and the region. This year's Foreign Language Center/Phi Sigma Iota Film Fest focuses on the theme of "Rising Power." Films from China, India, and Brazil illustrate some of the effects of the "rise" of those countries and how the changes impact specific people and their future.
