EASC events cancelled for remainder of Spring semester
In response to the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), The Ohio State University has suspended face-to-face instruction for Spring semester, and encouraged units to cancel non-essential university events through April 20. As a result, the East Asian Studies Center and the Institutes for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Studies have cancelled all scheduled in-person conferences, lectures, and workshops for the remainder of spring semester, including the EASC 50th anniversary conference. Please see our events calendar for up-to-date information. We hope to be able to reschedule some of these events for the 2020-2021 academic year, and we will publish that information as it becomes available.
The health and safety of our community is our top priority. We realize that these COVID-19 protocols will cause disruption, but the risk of not acting outweighs the inconvenience of these temporary measures. Please visit the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center website for updates and additional information related to COVID-19.
