The East Asian Studies Center invites you to view the electronic publication of the Academic Year 2019-2020 EASC expOSUre newsletter.

This issue includes columns from the EASC, ICS, IJS, and IKS faculty directors, updates on leadership transitions, faculty and student news, as well as the following feature articles:

Focus on curricular innovation: Read about the new course and IJS lecture exploring Japanese monsterology and the new educational language web series, NihonGO NOW! The Big Ten Academic Alliance's Korean eSchool Initiative is featured, and online teaching and digital innovation in East Asian studies are discussed.

Focus on academic programming: EASC and the institutes' 35 lectures, conferences, and performances are listed. In addition, the 5th Workshop in Innovations in Cantonese Linguistics is highlighted for its success in converting the planned on-site conference into a synchronous webinar conference welcoming the world.
