Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. 2016-17 FLAS Fellowship competition opens

EASC is seeking applications for fellowships for summer 2016 and academic year 2016-17 under the U.S. Department of Education's Title VI Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship program. Fellowships are available for Ohio State graduate and professional school students pursuing a course of study requiring advanced foreign language and area studies training, as well as undergraduate students of junior or senior standing in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field who have successfully completed two years of East Asian language study at the college level. Subject to approval, FLAS fellowships may also be used for foreign language and area studies at other U.S. or foreign institutions.

Applications are available in fillable pdf format and are due February 1, 2016.

Students are also invited to attend one of EASC's FLAS information sessions, to be held in 122 Oxley Hall (1712 Neil Avenue), as follows:
