The Mershon Center for International Security Studies:
This symposium assembles an international, multidisciplinary group of specialists to assess the impact of 21st-century challenges on treaties and security institutions shaped for 20th-century risks. A first panel compares US debates to those taking place in South Asia, the European Union, and the Koreas. The second panel considers the gaps, contradictions, abuses, and unintended consequences of the current international regime.
The symposium will be held in person, with three virtual participants, and will be recorded for upload on the Mershon YouTube channel.
Lunch will be available at 11:30 for registrants prior to the start of the symposium.
