Executive in Residence - Toshikata Amino,Former Executive Vice President, Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc.
Mr. Toshikata “Toshi” Amino brings over 40 years of international business leadership experience to the service of Wittenberg University, which he joined in 2009 as the senior Executive in Residence. Mr. Amino began his career in the automotive industry in 1966 with Honda Motor Company Ltd., where he held a number of sales positions. In 1976, Mr. Amino was named Vice President of Motorcycle Marketing, American Honda, Inc. and in 1980 became vice president of Auto Plant Construction for Honda of America, Manufacturing, Inc.

Amino left Honda in 1982 and served for five years as President of Bellemar Parts industries, Inc. He then rejoined Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc. in 1987 as Executive Vice President, a position he held until his retirement in 1995. After his retirement, Mr. Amino pursued a profession in academia. Mr. Amino currently
serves as an Executive - in - Residence at Wittenberg University, Ohio Wesleyan University and at the Ohio State University, where he is also a Distinguished Fellow at the Fisher College of Business. Mr. Amino also currently serves as a visiting professor and Special Assistant to the President of Kansai University of International Studies in Japan, where he is a retired Professor of international Business and Management. In 2006 Mr. Amino received an honorary doctorate from Franklin University. Mr. Amino graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kobe University in 1960.
