EASC co-sponsors the Asian Festival this weekend in Columbus
The 2013 Asian Festival will take place this weekend, May 25 - 27 at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The festival will feature a career fair in addition to Asian games, children's activities, cultural exhibits, culinary demonstrations, food, health screenings, and a marketplace. On Monday, May 27 the festival will continue with the Dragon Boat Race and other activities along the Scioto River in Genoa Park, located in downtown Columbus. The arts, music and performances will be presented in both traditional and contemporary styles from participating groups representing Chinese, Asian Indian, Korean, Japanese, Filipino and Southeast Asian cultures.
