Join us in Fisher Hall for a roundtable discussion with Dr. Mary Yoko Brannen and Dr. Terry Mughan as they discuss the changing landscape of effective management due to globalization. Both Dr. Brannen and Dr. Mughan have extensive backgrounds in international business and cross-cultural management.
Mary Yoko Brannen is the Jarislowsky East Asia (Japan) Chair of Cross-Cultural Management, Professor of International Business, and currently Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School. She recently was made Fellow at the Academy of International Business having served as Deputy Editor of the Journal of International Business Studies for two consecutive elected terms (20011-2016). She received an Honorary Doctorate from the Copenhagen Business School in March, 2016 and currently sits on the International Advisory Boards of BI Norwegian Business School, Stockholm School of Economics, and the International House of Japan.
Terry Mughan (PhD) is Associate Professor in the Business School at Royal Roads University and Associate Fellow at the Centre for Global Studies, University of Victoria, both in Canada. He is a core faculty member of the Master in Global Management Program and is currently researching the integration of international students into Canadian workplace and society.
