The event will be in the U.S. Bank Conference Center at the Ohio Union, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 3. It is free and open to all. Several internationally and nationally renowned artists from Korea and the U.S. will collaborate in vibrant song, dance and instrumental pieces. Joining them in a dynamic percussion ensemble and story-singing skit are Ohio State students studying Korean performance tradition. The event is sponsored by the Korean Performance Program in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, East Asian Studies Center, U.S. Department of Education Title VI grant, the Institute for Korean Studies and the Korean Language and Involvement Club. For its inaugural year, The Ohio State University's Sungkyu Chris Lee Korean Performance Program brings the sounds and sights of traditional Korean performance to Columbus with Korean Wind and Stream.
