In addition to introducing the poetry itself, the talk will also discuss the methodological joys and challenges of translating this Manchu poet and writing at the interface of fiction and history.Bio: Carla Nappi is a historian of early modern China who currently holds the Mellon Chair in History at the University of Pittsburgh.
