Closing remarks by Professor Marjorie Chan, Director of the Institute for Chinese Studies Note: The ICS Graduate Forums provide graduate students with an opportunity to present their research findings to their peers and to faculty members at OSU and neighboring institutions. This year, we are pleased to be able to include presentations by two Art History graduate students, Hyun Kyung Kim and Yanfei Yin. Linguistics graduate student, Tsz-Him Tsui, was encouraged to present for the "home crowd" what he had presented on 7 March 2014 at WICL-2 in Chicago. History graduate student, Di Luo, will be formally presenting at the main session of the 2014 AAS annual meeting, while the five DEALL graduate students on the program—Ziying You, Mengjun Li, Qiong Yang, Yutian Tan and Litong Chen—will be giving their formal presentations at the 2014 CHINOPERL Conference, held in conjunction with the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) annual meeting. The 2014 AAS Annual Meeting will be held in Philadelphia, PA, on 27-30 March 2014.The theme of the 2014 ICS Graduate Forum comes from the name of the 2013-2014 ICS lecture series.
