"Core Practices/High-Leverage Teaching Practices Workshop"
Dr. Troyan is assistant professor of Foreign and Second Language Education at The Ohio State University. His teaching and research focus is on foreign language teacher development and genre and functional linguistics in K-12 foreign language education. In this workshop, participants will develop knowledge of Core Practices/High-leverage teaching practices, which ACTFL, AATJ, and the J-CAN initiative are actively promoting. We will examine examples that highlight the Core Practices in action and enable participants to try it out in their own classrooms.
