Jessica has served on the Board of the Northeast Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) and has been President of the National Council of Japanese Language Teachers (NCJLT) and Co-President of the American Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ).  She worked with CT COLT to advocate for Seal of Biliteracy legislation in Connecticut and served on the the NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements Revision Committee.  Jessica is ACTFL President-Elect for 2021.   This event is sponsored in part by the East Asian Studies Center and a U.S. Department of Education Title VI grant to the East Asian Studies Center at OSU.    Virtual (via online Zoom meeting room) East Asian Studies Center easc@osu.edu America/New_York public
