EASC's Louise Loh Memorial Scholarship and Intensive Chinese Language Scholarship applications now available
The East Asian Studies Center announces the availability of applications for the 2014 Louise Zung-Nyi Loh Memorial Scholarship. Graduate and undergraduate students in any department who have an academic specialization in East Asian studies in their present or future programs of study are encouraged to apply for the Louise Loh scholarship which ranges from $400 to $1,600. Applications for the EASC Intensive Chinese Language Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year are also now available. Designed to accelerate the acquisition of Chinese language skills for future careers related to China, the Intensive Chinese Language Scholarship provides $1,500 in funding for undergraduate students pursuing dual degrees in Chinese language and related fields. Students must have completed first-year Chinese before the autumn 2014 semester to be eligible. The deadline to apply is March 3.
