Journal of Japanese Linguistics
The Institute for Japanese Studies is proud to sponsor the publication of the Journal of Japanese Linguistics under the Editor Mineharu Nakayama through Volume 28.
The journal is moving to San Francisco State University starting with Volume 29 (2013).
While the move is not complete yet, the same subscription rates will apply for 2014.
Published annually and focuses its coverage on work that includes the following:
- Empirically oriented, descriptive work that includes original observations of linguistic phenomena
- Theoretical application to empirical work
- Experimental work that evaluates a linguistic theory
- Discussion of linguistic issues problematic to language pedagogy and/or pedagogical implications
